During the first half of the term in Health and Physical Education we have been focusing on our kicking skills and tactics/gameplay in soccer. Over the last couple of weeks we have begun our Volleyball unit, where we created posters after researching different skills and have now put those skills into practice. We are enjoying Volleyball as it is something different and new to many of us and we look forward to playing a match in future lessons!
Thanks for reading,
Over the last couple of weeks in Health and Physical Education, we have been learning and practising the drop punt in AFL football. We have been focusing on how to hold the football, to drop it down onto our foot, and point our toe to our target. Some of us have been lucky to receive help from SEDA AFL students. We look forward to continuing this unit next term!
This term we will be focussing our learning on athletic events including high jump, discus, hurdles and shot put. We are practicing these events for the Athletics Day which will be held at Sprint Athletics Stadium on Friday the 22nd of March. It’s so exciting to learn new skills and try own personal best.
